The 81 series of light amber (warming) color temperature conversion filters decrease color temperatures and create a warming effect reducing blue casts. These filters are used for more subtle changes in color balance. They are accordingly often known as light balancing rather than conversion filters. The 81 decreases color temperature from 3800k to 3200k. ND Grad filters are clear in the bottom half of the filter with a gradual transition to the ND effect in the top half.
